Lockdown enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He loves motorcycles and is a proud Harley-Davidson owner of a Street Glide and Custom Sportster. Lockdown is an avid Ravens, Orioles and Lakers fan. He often volunteers in the community, for his church and has coached recreational baseball, basketball and softball teams.

He has served in the United States Army Reserves and Retired from the MD Division of Corrections in 2007. He is a graduate of the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Maryland- Baltimore, School of Nursing. He has over 7 years of mental health experience ranging from crisis stabilization, dual diagnosis, neurocognitive disorders, psychotic disorders, nursing research, and education.
